DESCRIPTION

Dynamic tear tests

• Observe directly the quality of the tear film non-invasively;
• Accurately measure the time to failure and other important aspects of the tear film by projecting directly on the patient's eye surface a white and homogeneous light source by means of a special conical diffuser;
• Measure the height and regularity of the meniscus tear;
• Check the fluorescein pattern in the case of application of rigid contact lenses;
• Check the condition of rigid lenses (scratches, deposits).

Thanks to quantitative tests, estimating the amount of basal secretion and/or reflected, qualitative tests that evaluate the functionality and stability of the tear film, we can get the OBJECTIVE and repeatable measurements of the situation of our patient. Supplied accessories

The system is provided with a kit of useful grids to perform various screening, all filters are already in the software system, It includes tests to assess and diagnose dry eye problems and allows to recommend specific artificial tears.
