The IR Communications package consists of a docking cradle and CD communications software. The IR Communications Package syncs with the AR200 or the TS Meter-D digital refractometers to a PC for data transfer. Attach the docking cradle to a PC via RS-232 serial port or optional USB. From PC, download the measurement log - 225 of the last measurements that are date and time stamped.
From the PC, import the file into a spreadsheet for further analysis. In addition, the recent calibration log can be retrieved from the refractometer and downloaded to the PC. From the PC, custom measurement scales can be transferred and uploaded into the refractometer. This allows the refractometer to become more functional for a specific measurement application.
