The automated phoropter TAP-2000 is the optimal product to establish an individual working routine for an all-round refraction. The phoropter assists in performing the various measurement options by displaying useful tips.

Additionally TAP-2000 is compatible with various TOMEY equipment like lens meter, autorefractor, chart panel and projector. No matter if you prefer cable or wireless connection – both options are available (depending on equipment). Thanks to this it is easy to import data from different sources and export your final refraction values to a PC or EMR system.

COMFORT FOR OPERATOR AND PATIENT

  • The convenient control panel allows an easy one-hand operation. Call up the versatile vision test with the touch of a finger.
  • The dual cross cylinder leads to more efficiency in the astigmatism measurement by presenting both visual impressions simultaneously.
  • During the refraction, the blue LED light on the front side of the phoropter head indicates the correct position of the patients’ forehead.
  • The wide visual field of 40° guarantees a very natural vision without limitations.
  • By the bright white LED light for near vision, the near vision chart is illuminated perfectly.
  • The comparison between pre-exam data acquired by TOMEY Lensmeter or Auto-Refractometer and the final refraction data may be demonstrated by one click.
  • An ergonomic use is supported by the flexible display of the control box.
