Reichert® is excited to announce new enhancements to the ClearChart® 4X Enhanced Digital Acuity System (PN 13775). Effective immediately, all ClearChart 4X units will include new features such as additional children’s optotypes, color vision testing charts, and color stereo tests (complete with stereo color vision glasses). No changes to the ClearChart® 4 (PN 13795) or ClearChart® 4P (PN 13785) have been made. For a comprehensive overview of all the ClearChart features and charts by model, please refer to the next page.
An updated Instructions for Use, marketing brochure, and website content can be easily accessed on the ClearChart 4X Product Page: www.reichert.com/clearchart 4X Because of the additional features, Reichert will need to manage regulatory updates to alleviate any interruptions in international shipments. We will contact you when these change notifications are approved by the authorities. Countries that are not directly affected by registrations are the US and Canada. In the interim, ClearChart 4 and 4P registrations will not be affected.
If connecting a new ClearChart 4X (serial number after 40001-0824) to a Phoroptor® VRx Digital Refraction System or a SightChek® Digital Phoroptor, the user must use the “ClearChart 4P” driver when configuring the projector port to be able to access the new charts.
We believe these new enhancements will strengthen our competitive position, and provide our eye care professionals with the tools needed for a more comprehensive exam.
